God Isn't Asking for Eloquence in Prayer

Hannah did not get Samuel because she prayed pretty. She got Samuel because she prayed honestly from her heart.

God Isn't Asking for Eloquence in Prayer

Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.

Hannah did not get Samuel because she prayed pretty. She got Samuel because she prayed honestly from her heart.

Honest and heartfelt prayer is the doorway to God's help. No mask, just you and God. God does not want your polished prayers; He wants your real pain.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Heaven responds to heart prayers

Eli could not hear her, but God did. People will misjudge your process; Eli judged her as drunk. But when you pray honestly, peace comes. "So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad" (1 Samuel 1:18).

Today, choose to pour out your heart to God.

Prayer

Father, I'm done pretending, I'm done with religious words. Meet me in my honesty and turn this into a testimony. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
